Personal Favorites

We had a great time at the beach last week. I'm still having a tough time adjusting to being back at home and am seriously missing the sound of the waves and the breeze off the lake. I've already started researching houses for next year and can't wait to get back to one of my favorite places. I've slowly been working my way through our pictures, and since our last evening on the beach was hands down my favorite moment of the trip, I decided to start there. Here are just a few of my favorite memories.

It was really important to me to get a nice family picture on the beach

that I could hang up in our living room.

This was no easy feat, as our friend Melissa can attest to.

Luckily, she managed to get this great shot for us.

Quiet contemplation. Scarlett did her fair share of running on the beach that night, but she also was more then content to stand back and take it all in, which allowed Mommy to capture her
at just the right moment.

My growing boy in all his glory. One of the very few moments he actually stood still for me.
