Day 4 or Complete Vacation Picture Overload

Day 4 finally brought warm, sunny weather with bright blue skies.  Unfortunately, my children didn't seem to wake the same way.  Luckily, they finally pulled themselves together and we headed off to the beach.
Scarlett and I found a snail on our way to the boardwalk.  She wasn't all that excited about it, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Polar opposites.  Grayson couldn't get enough of running on the beach with his friend Lily, while Scarlett carefully walked back and forth from the water to the blanket with her cups of water.

Nate finally got Scarlett in the water for a quick dip, while Grayson enjoyed being buried in the sand.

The kids loved burying daddy.

After an hour or so at the beach, we headed over to Washington Park Zoo with the kids and G.G.
Grayson had a blast feeding the birds again.

Before we headed to the pool for a post dinner swim,
G.G. snapped a picture of the whole group in front of the beach house.

We had the best time at the pool that night.  Grayson was the most comfortable I have ever seen him in the water.  He made running jumps into the pool repeatedly and even let daddy toss him around a little.

Even Scarlett got in on the action, not to be outdone by her big brother, of course.
