We took advantage of the cooler weather and headed
over to Mt. Baldy, a giant sand dune.
Nate was impressed by the sheer size of Mt. Baldy.
This is at the very bottom in the parking lot.

We started up the trail and the kids led the way.

Scarlett walked pretty much the entire way up.
At the summit.

Looking for a way down.

The steep walk down. The kids did great!!
In the background you can see the other family we were vacationing with.
Their kids "rolled" most of the way down! ;)

Once we reached the beach at the bottom,
Gray couldn't get his shoes off fast enough for
a run near the water.

Self-portrait.

Mt. Baldy.

Scarlett was quite taken with all of the seagulls
walking/flying near by.

Gray took a moment to check out the view
from the summit on the way back to the car.

One of my favorite pictures from the week.
