I've been debating having Scarlett's hair cut for some time. Nothing big, but just enough to get rid of the fuzziness and to let the front and sides catch up with the back. But every night when I would rock her before bed I would find myself playing with her hair, hair that had just started to curl ever so slightly at the ends, and I would talk myself out of it. And then I took this picture.....
and decided the time had come. So we all trooped over to Great Clips on Saturday and watched as Scarlett had her hair trimmed for the very first time. It was easier than I thought it would be, but watching those first little clumps of hair fall into my hand still hurt just a little.
Scarlett did great and sat pretty still the whole time.
Her hair doesn't look all that much different except for being about an inch shorter in the back. I'm hoping the front and sides will grow out just a little more before I take her back in August to have her ends trimmed up. And I have until then to start working on Daddy to give her a really cute short cut. ;)

I was just noticing that her hair was long! It sure is pretty! Where did she get her blonde hair?
That's all from the Irwin family. Chris and Nate were both blonde when they were little. I love it, but, looking at the guys now, I'm pretty sure it's not going to last. ;)
