Let Down But Thankful

So, I had another appointment today to check on the baby, and was completely disappointed to learn that I am still not dilating. I thought for sure that I would go in this week and find out that I had started to make some progress, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I am resigned to the fact that I will probably end up being induced yet again, and am okay with that in the sense that at least I should be able to make arrangements for Gray (if they will ever let me schedule a freakin' induction date!!).

I had to explain to the doctor that I am perfectly content being pregnant and that this baby could stay put for another month if there was some way for me to know when things would happen so I know what to do for Grayson, which is really where all of my anxiety comes from. Oh well. Things will happen one way or another, right? I'm really just trying to focus on the fact that at least once I am actually pregnant, my body seems to want to stay that way. And for that I am more grateful than I can say.

Hang in there girl! I am rooting for you from down the street! I am sure things will happen as they should. If there is anything I (we) can do, just let me know. Dinner was YUMMY the other day. I will call or email this week as I have a moment. Would love to get together to chat/hang out one day soon.

Look at you! Pg women are just beautiful. Even when we feel exhausted and cannot breath or even sit comfortably, still just glowing! Pretty soon you'll be posting about the late night feedings and seeing the moonlight light up baby girl's face..

Seriously, you do just look awesome! It will all work out just fine. I remember feelnig this way about 11 months ago and looking back I can't believe I let it cause me so much stress! I went over and over our plan for Lily SO many times and had contingency contacts in my mind and everything. In the end we ended up doing something different than we had originally planned and it worked out just fine! You guys have a lot of people who are willing to help out so you will be totally covered whenever things happen; day or night! SO EXCITED!!!

Melissa said everything I was thinking. You have so many friends who would love to help you, so don't worry about it. I do understand your interest in KNOWING the date of the delivery. It was nice to know what E's birthday was going to be. ...just start having lots of sex to get things going! :)
