I was watching TV the other night, and saw this commercial:

It completely took me by surprise, but in a good way. I notice phrases like this one being used more and more when I am out in public, usually with my children in tow. I don't know that Gray has caught on yet, and obviously Scarlett is too young to notice, but how much longer would it be before they did? I know this could possibly be a controversial subject, but it's one that I feel strongly about. I don't want my children picking up on this phrase, and I will be appalled the day that I hear them refer to something as being "so gay." I know that all I can do is try to teach my kids why this is offensive and why we won't tolerate it. But it sure is nice to know that other kids/people might be more aware now, too, and at least watch what they say in public places.

THIS is why I love you! We are cut of the same cloth. :)
Kelly, I am always moved by your sensitivity and your passion for ensuring that your kids grow up knowing how to love and care for others!
