The Best Kind Of Medicine
Thursday night in our house has become "date night." I think the kids look forward to it as much as Nate and I do. Well, Grayson does anyway. We decided to make this a weekly occurrence back in June, and have been fairly consistent. It's been a lot of dinners and movies, and, frankly, that was getting old. So last night we took a huge step outside of our comfort zone and decided to give The Funny Bone Comedy Club a try. I had a huge headache when we left and all I really wanted to do was take a big fat nap, but we went and I tried to keep an open mind about it. When we walked in the door the place was completely empty. We weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into. It was awesome! Maybe 20 other people showed up, so it wasn't a huge crowd by any means, and we were right in front of the "stage," which was kind of intimidating. But I laughed more in that hour and a half than I had in a long time, and by the time we left my headache was gone. We had so much fun! We're planning on going back next week to see Drew Hastings, and have already picked out some more shows to go to in the coming months. My only hope is that the next time it's some other poor couple in the front row getting picked on. ;)

WOOHOO! Can't wait for next Thursday!
Weekly date nights?!? Good for you guys! I'm jealous. We're planning our bi-annual one, and we're going to the Funny Bone in Columbus too. Glad to hear it's still a good time!
