So, it's 2:45 am and I've been awake for the past 2 hours. I swear I have bed sores from this hospital bed already, and being hooked up to fetal monitors doesn't make trying to get comfortable easy. Besides that, everything is going well. It's pretty quiet in L&D, and I've had a great nurse this evening. I think my high point so far was finding out that the nurse who helped me when I delivered Gray is still here and will be coming in at 7 this morning. I think it's kind of neat that I'll get to have the same nurse this time around.
The next step of the plan is for the Cervadil to come out at 6, take a shower, get hooked up to my IV, and start the Pitocin. The nurse said that the Dr. would probably break my water around noon, and we should have a baby by the evening.
In other news, Gray did great with us leaving last evening. He was so excited to have his Grandpa and Abi at the house and show them all of his "stuff." And I didn't even cry when we left. ;) I am anxious for this baby to be here now, so that we can introduce her to her big brother. I can't wait to see his reaction to her and see how we all transition to a family of four.

This is all so exciting! Thanks for the update! I love getting the play by play. It's just like watching a movie. That's really cool that you will have the same nurse. That is something you never think could just happen but is so exciting and comforting when it does. GOOD LUCK!!
I am talking to Nicki right now on the phone and reading your blog to her. We are giddy with excitement!!!
