I realized the other day that I was having a difficult time actually remembering exactly what Grayson was like last year at this time. I knew he had been walking and talking, but I just couldn't seem to remember any real specifics. So, I went in search of pictures and video in the hopes that I would remember. This is what I found, and I still can't seem to wipe the smile off my face after watching it. I am still amazed at the way my heart becomes overwhelmed with love and joy for my sweet "little" boy.

My Little Man
Otherwise known as Gray or Bug, our firstborn is quite the little athlete. He loves all things sports, and talks quite often about being a "professional" when he's big. He has a gentle soul and loves being a big brother. Some of his other favorite things are music, creating art, running, and figuring out how things work, even if it means destroying something in the process. He turned 5 in July and is thoroughly enjoying Kindergarten.

My Little Daredevil
AKA Lettie or Monkey, our little girl is quite a spitfire. Scarlett turned 2 in September. She definitely has a mind of her own and is very strong-willed. She loves to climb on and jump off of everything in sight. Some of her favorite things are books, baby dolls, and monster trucks, though not necessarily in that order. She has a flair for the dramatic, a great sense of humor, and loves figuring out how to make people laugh.

Okay, that was TOTALLY too sweet for words! What a sweetheart he is! Now I am going to have to search out some pics of K last year too! Sorry to copy, but dang, that was a GREAT idea!!!

I have to do the same thing with looking back at old pictures and videos to see when L was doing what. When she was little I swore that I would always remember every little milestone...guess that didn't last too long!
