SNOW!!!

We FINALLY got some snow here in B-Town over the weekend, much to my, I mean the children's delight. After dinner on Sunday, I decided we couldn't let perfectly good snow go to waste and took Grayson, Scarlett, and our niece Katelyn outside to run around. They had a blast tromping around the front yard, making snow angels, and discovering that they could do just fine without a sled.

Gray was the first to realize that he could launch himself down the hill in our backyard and slide all the way to the bottom on his belly. Can you see the joy and excitement written all over his face? ;)

Scarlett was a little trooper. She didn't make it too long since the wind was whipping the snow back in her face, but she really enjoyed the first 10 minutes or so.

I think it's safe to say that Katelyn enjoyed herself.

This video is pretty dark since it was, you know, all of 6:45pm. But, if you look closely enough you'll see the kids sliding down our small hill out back and having a great time. Next time it snows I think I'll have to put the camera down and join them.

Edited to Add: Ok, so for some reason I'm able to see the kids in the video when I watch it on my computer, but you can't see diddly squat when you watch it on my blog. SO, enjoy the audio. ;)
