We were enjoying some play time this evening after dinner. Gray has discovered that the couch cushions make great "pillows" for jumping on, so we let him put those on the floor with some other big floor pillows that we have and let him go at it. My kid loves to run and jump and could honestly spend hours doing those things.
So we were watching Gray jump to his hearts content when he decided to turn one of the cushions into his "skateboard." I found this so funny that I quickly got the camcorder out to start taping him. Not even a full minute later, Grayson quickly stops what he's doing, looks at me with concern, and says, "Ooh, can you pause? I have to poop," and off he runs to the bathroom. I just about lost it and sat there chuckling to myself, waiting for his return. A minute or so later, we hear a loud humming noise coming from the bathroom. Nate quickly asks Grayson if he's okay, to which he quickly replies, " Stop talking to me, dad. I'm mowing." Yeah, I finally lost it and am still laughing to myself as I write this. I don't know where my kid comes up with these random thoughts and statements, but I'm really glad that he does since I can use all the humor I can get in my life.
