*The day that Gray went into the bathroom without being asked, did his business all by himself, and called me in to help him button up his pants. I was in the process of telling him what a good job he had down all on his own when he interrupted me and asked "Penis did a good job, too?" I was a little confused and asked him to repeat himself. When he replied with the exact same question, I agreed that "penis" had done a good job, too. That seemed to satisfy him until he got half way up his stool turned around with a confused look on his face and asked, "Girls have 'ginas? Why?" NOT a conversation I had imagined having with a 2 1/2 year old!
*The night that Gray was helping to clear the table after dinner and Nate and I both praised him and thanked him for being a good helper. He got a huge smile on his face and said, "Good boy, Grayson! You saved the day!" My kids not at all modest is he?
*Grayson sitting in the backseat with his friend Lily making plans to "go out together." So far we're up to the zoo, library, movies, and Nate's softball games where they "can have a picnic and eat apples." Ah, young love. ;)
