Easter Happennings

Yesterday was an unconventional Easter at best in our household. We had had plans of getting up and going to church and then returning home for a big Easter lunch. And then our plans changed. Our out of town family decided they couldn't make it, so the big lunch seemed silly to make for just Nate and I since Grayson doesn't eat meat (and probably wouldn't have eaten much else either). Church fell by the way-side after an EARLY morning egg hunt and a basket of treats from the Easter bunny. At 11:00 we were all still in our Pj's, and not in a huge hurry to change that. Grayson and I ended up running to Wendy's, of all places, to pick up food (while still in our Pj's, I might add) for lunch, which was followed shortly by nap-time for Gray.

Nate's mom drove down to spend a few hours with us, and once Gray woke up and was coerced into some clothes we made our way to the movie theatre for Gray's first movie ever. He was awesome at the movie and we all ate way too much popcorn. Not too much that we couldn't find some room for dinner at O'Charley's afterwards, though. ;)

So like I said, unconventional at best and not at all the Easter we (I) had originally envisioned in my head, though probably a lot more relaxing. Hope all of you had a relaxing Easter, as well!

Don't you just love it when your plans change and you end up having a better day than you ever could have planned? Sounds like the PERFECT day!
