*Why do good hair days never happen 2 days in a row, and sometimes not even twice in a week?
*Why do I feel completely unprepared for our trip to California even though I've known about it for at least the past year?
*Why does it feel so good to be needed by friends and family?
*Why do I stay up way too late when my husband travels even though I know that I'll still be paying the price a week later?

Cause we can!
Good hair days are lovely! And just so you know I think your hair looks cute all the time! Not like my mop!!
I have decided the art to trip planning is NOT planning too much. I used to be super planner and it just stressed me out. I have come to the conclusion that if I do the bear minimum, I do not worry about the little things, and pack the night before I am far more efficient (tired but everything is there) AND I always remember that where I am going usually there are stores where I can buy what I need if I need it!!! BTW, we are planning to pick Matthew up early today to give you some time to get the last minute things done - I did not get to mention that b/c Kevin was being the time nazi this morning!
Ah, sweet sleep. WHY oh why can't I find thee!??!? I do not sleep well any more. I did for a time but now I am back to 3-4 hours a night for NO GOOD REASON... I am pooped too...
I'm glad someone thinks my hair looks cute! ;)
I'm trying to take the laid back approach to this trip, too. I'm not nearly as stressed out about it as I thought I would be. I just feel like I have so much left to do before we leave (sweep and mop my floors, vacuum, take the trash out, etc). But I guess it will always be there when we get back. ;)
Oh I am glad to hear I am not the only person who likes to clean the house before going on trip! Kevin thinks I am insane for doing this - I like to come home to clean fresh home! Who wants to clean a mess on top of a mess when you return (the mess being all the dirty clothes, luggage, etc...)
Have fun!
