Another year has somehow flown by, and my sweet little boy turned two today. Where did the time go? For some reason today was really emotional for me. I'm not sure if it's because Grayson really is a "big boy," or if it's because he's such a Daddy's boy that I felt so left out today, but I really had a hard time keeping my emotions in check. Doesn't he know that two years ago on this day I brought him into this world and the least he could do is cuddle with me for 30 seconds? Is it really too much to ask? For an active 2-year-old, I guess it is. So I made do, watching from a distance and thinking about all Gray has accomplished in such a short time while wiping a tear or two from my eye,of course.
Happy Birthday, Grayson. You have taken the world by storm this year and I have never seen a little boy do it with so much intent, determination, and purpose. The world is yours for the taking and you can do anything you dream of. I hope that you will always continue to approach it with as much gusto as you have the past year. Thanks for allowing me to come along for the ride. I love you, Bug.

Oh Kelly! Your post makes me all teary too! I have been having the same thoughts these days as K's big day is fast approaching. Where has all the time gone? I'm so glad to have you and Grayson to accompany us on our "journey".
