Shades of.......poop?

So for the past month Grayson has basically been telling us he needs to poop before he does it, but refuses to sit on the potty. After he does his business, he proceeds to tell us "I poop" and then goes to get a clean diaper so that we can change him.

So last night, we were winding down from a busy day, and I was trying(this is the operative word here) to tell Gray that it was time to take a bath and get ready for bed. Of course, he continued to run circles around the living room. I finally caught him on what had to be his 10th lap around the room, and as he struggled to get away for another lap, I started to smell a familiar stench. I held onto him and asked him if he had pooped. He yelled "No!" and took off again. I asked Grayson again if he had pooped, and the little booger turned around with a huge smile on his face and yelled "YEAH!" Nate and I were laughing so hard that we couldn't even get the usual talk about using the potty BEFORE he goes out of our mouths.

How's that for potty training? ;)
