A morning with Scarlett

One of my favorite rooms in our house is Scarlett's bedroom.  I love the way the sun shines in and floods the room with light.
A couple weeks ago, we spent a Sunday morning lounging around reading books and spreading toys all over the floor.  But it wasn't enough to keep my little spit fire happy for long.

Scarlett must have felt that Grayson was invading her turf, because when he wandered in and tried snuggling up next to her she hauled off and smacked him.  And then I made her sit down for a time-out.  We're working on it.

She found a paci laying around.  It seemed to help calm her down, which I found amusing since she never really used one at all.  But I used the rare, still moment to take pictures of her feet, which I am obsessed with these days.

Scarlett eventually wandered back to her toys and amused herself for a few brief moments.

But not for long, of course.

Because climbing on her chair and jumping down seemed like a better idea, of course.

But then Mommy had to ruin all the fun and nix that idea.  Which led to yet another tantrum.

And then she left.

Very cute! I feel like I spent the morning with you. How did you get the pictures to be in that layout? I like it.
