Catching Up (or my longest post EVER)

We had the past week off and spent it traveling around visiting various family members and just taking it easy. We really enjoyed the down time and spending time together. Here are some of the highlights:

Enjoying family and food after Uncle Griffin's graduation. Both kids were up until almost midnight that night and still laughing!
Driving the train at Tyler's Tender. This place is all about trains and my son loves it!

Scarlett and G.G. watching big brother on the train.

Watching the otters swim overhead at the Michigan City zoo.

Feeding the goats.

The highlight of the zoo. Gray was given a craft stick coated in bird seed to feed the birds. It didn't take long before he made friends with this little guy who Grayson named "Clever." ;)

A rare shot of all 4 of us at the zoo.

Scarlett's first trip to the beach. She loved the sand and would scoop it up by the handful just to watch it trail between her fingers. It was really cute....until she stared eating it.

Gray digging for "wet sand" with G.G.'s help.

On the bus at Fair Oaks Farm. This place was AWESOME!! We got to see a working dairy farm, taste some yummy ice cream, and even see a baby cow being born!

The cows on their milking carousel. It was a really neat process to watch.

Gray was able to drive a mini John Deer at Fair Oaks.

We enjoyed a few days hanging out at home in between our visits. I introduced Grayson to water balloons during one of Scarlett's naps.

Gray at his very first t-ball practice. He loved it!

We ended our vacation at Grandpa and Abi's and had a great time.

Nate and the kids enjoying the hammock.

Scarlett loved playing in her little pool.....
while Gray enjoyed some time in the lake with Grandpa and Daddy.

The new deck looked great and both kids enjoyed checking it out.

I think Gray had this guitar strapped to him anytime he wasn't in the water.

Scarlett wasn't too sure about the quacking duck.

Rocking out to Guitar Hero.

Scarlett's new method of getting around.

Gray was a big help putting together Grandpa and Abi's new porch furniture.
A fun Father's Day weekend for all!

Looks like your time in the Region was fantastic. The Fair Oaks appears to be a great place for kids.

Grayson's interest in trains no doubt comes from his great grandfather Bishop; there was no one who enjoyed trains and locomotives more!
