And what is this a picture of you may ask? Oh, it's just a tape measure that Grayson managed to snag from his Grandpa's house and stuff into the pocket of his sweatshirt. But wait, it doesn't look like a tape measure, you say? Well that's because this is what it looks like after going through the washing machine and the dryer. In the weeks since, I have found various rocks, dried flowers, and crayons in the pockets of both his jeans and his sweatshirts. Let's just say I'm glad the crayon didn't make it to the dryer.

That is sooo funny!! Isn't it great what kids put in their pockets!? Today I found two pennies and a piece of glass in the dryer! It is a good thing the crayon didn't make it to the dryer, although you might have gotten some new clothes out of the deal!
So funny! I take it you didn't manage to reassemble it? Luckily Lily doesn't put much in her pockets yet. She'd much rather pick up a flower or rock and then have us carry it for her!
Ah yes, we too, have the "What's making all that racket in the dryer" game going on at our house most evenings. (Especially given that I seem to have to do laundry every stinkin' day) Kids are sooo funny!
This picture is all too familiar and brings back many memories of my three Rhyne children. I miss those days. :)
I wish grandpa were here to see Gray and his tape measure....I'm sure he'd be smiling.
Melissa~ Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to reassemble the tape measure, but I did find more at Hobby Lobby for
$.99. I bought 2 for Gray with the strict instuctions they were not to go in his pockets! ;)
Ah yes, we get pennies, rocks and tonight I might find bandaids. Yes, bandaids. He tattooed (sp?) himself today with bandaids. He doesn't even LIKE bandaids, but they are all over our apartment and sure to be in the laundry!
